The Charlestones contact me to do some photos for their press release. Times are tight and ideas a few, a friend suggests to use a London bus parked in Udine as location. We reach it and, shortly after, another photographer with two musicians arrives, he wanted to photograph them on the bus for the cover of their upcoming album. We have a quick chat, an exchange of smiles and they go (to look for new ideas).
I remember well the photo I choose. At the time I was still a graphic designer but I was thinking about leaving that secure job to devote myself full time to photography since quite a while. Shortly before or after the shot, I was at the end of the shooting, I asked myself: “If this were to be your job, you’d be happy?” the answer was “Yes”. Some time after I left my job as a graphic designer to dedicate myself, in fact, to photography.
